Barry Penner puts in a solid performance, but still fails to get beyond the bronze medal position. Chuck Strahl squeaks by for the silver and Hope Mayor Laurie French is miles ahead with an easy gold.
The event? The 1500 meter ‘dress like somebody’s grandpa’. Honestly, it’s not Barry Penner’s best event; his heart just isn’t in it.
