Okay, so Barry Penner wants to spend more time with his new daughter. Fine. I’ve certainly heard of worse reasons to quit a job. But the thing is… he doesn’t have to quit his job just to spend time with his kid. As he shows right there, a baby is the perfect accessory for today’s busy MLA, both classy and practical! He can just tuck little Fintry there under his arm, and go about his business as usual, MLA-ing all over the place. And knowing how much of a trend-setter Barry Penner is, pretty soon everyone in Victoria will be showing up for work with their offspring along for the ride.

Barry Penner wants a hat like that. Like, he REALLY wants a hat like that.

It would go so well with his safety-orange jacket.

Barry Penner always takes such care and consideration when deciding what to wear. John Les just copies whatever Barry Penner is wearing. Time and time again.

Of course, if you take those same glasses and wear them with a dynamic reflective vest and sturdy construction hard hat, then you are  Waterworks Inspection Barry Penner, this holiday’s hottest action figure.

I’m sorry, I don’t know why I put this up. There is no Barry Penner in this picture. Just some Moustache Dude, a Red Scarf Lady, and that guy with what appears to be reading glasses and a sweater vest. No way Barry Penner would be caught dead with these squares.

The great thing about Barry Penner is how seamlessly he can transition from Defender of The Environment, to Head Relator to Aboriginals, to leader of a kickin’ Aboriginal Blanket and Drum Band. Plus, he can throw in some General Attorneying on the side, just for kicks.

Barry Penner’s short stint in the circus didn’t go so well. This was mainly due to his refusal to wear anything but the finest of suits, which quickly caught on with the rest of the performers.

On the upside, he did convince them to go with an electric car, so it wasn’t a total loss.

Uh-oh. Things have not been going well. It’s a good thing he’s wearing that hard hat.

With his new job, Barry Penner’s environment has changed from mostly green to mostly red and black. Luckily, his trusty blue suit doesn’t blend in with anything, and Barry Penner remains easy to spot in the crowd.

So Barry Penner has passed The Environment of to someone else for the time being and has moved on to greener pastures: Aboriginal Rest and Relaxation or something like that. Clearly, it’s important, whatever is is. Waaaay more important than the entirety of The Environment. And he’s totally ready for it, too! Just look at him up there, Relating and Reconciling with all those Aboriginal people (He’s easy to find, he’s the one that sticks out like a sore thumb).You know that Barry Penner is going to be the best Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation-ist ever.

Well, once someone tells him exactly what his new job is.
